Objection Letter Reminder

Dear Save Seapowet Supporter,

Thank you to the individuals who already responded to our email of May 14, 2023 (copied below) by submitting a new letter of objection to the Coastal Resources Management Council (CRMC).

For those of you who have not submitted a new letter, please send yours to the CRMC (re: file #2020-04-037) before the deadline of June 8, 2023.

Email addresses are supplied below (scroll to bottom of 14 May email) for your convenience.

Your submission is still needed for the file, even if you provided a letter of objection prior to the May 9, 2023 CRMC re-notice of the application.

New Developments

• On May 15, 2023, the Tiverton Harbor Commission voted unanimously to object to the application—reversing their previous action—and to send an objection letter to the CRMC.

• On May 22, 2023 the Tiverton Town Council voted unanimously to object to the application and to send an objection letter to the CRMC.

• However, in the aquaculture application and permitting process, the CRMC, not the town, is the decision-making authority.
